April meeting of ADCES Alabama Coordinating Body (formerly known as AlaADE)

Dear Colleagues,

As we all try to grapple with the impact of COVID-19, the leadership of the ADCES Alabama Coordinating Body is modifying its plans for the April 7, 2020 meeting. Originally it was to be held at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital Board Room in Birmingham.  It will now be held as a Zoom teleconference, featuring a business meeting at 5:30 p.m. and a webinar at 6:00 p.m. with 1.0 hour of CE credit.

The Zoom address and webinar content will be available shortly.

We hope that this arrangement will allow you to participate in the meeting and earn continuing education credit from the safety of your own home.

We recognize that our fall Education Conference scheduled for September 18, 2020 is still six months away, but we will evaluate our planning as the event draws closer. We welcome your input on that topic during our business meeting on April 7th. Your voice and your insight are important for us to hear. Also we invite you to share your experiences dealing with changes that have occurred in your practices as a result of the response to COVID-19. Again, your colleagues are eager to hear from you and share best practices.

In the meantime, please know that many people are aware of your efforts and deeply appreciate all that you are doing.

God bless and stay safe.
