3 Reasons Why OUR Vote Counts!
• It gives us the opportunity to voice our opinion. In these organization-wide elections, your vote or my vote could possibly be the deciding vote. That's exciting! It’ the opportunity to make real and immediate change. How often do we get that chance?
• Voting makes us curious. It makes us go online, learn about candidates, learn about both sides of an issue, etc. It allows us to make educated decisions. We don’t have to be experts on a topic to offer valuable contributions. Taking time to explore our curiosity around candidates and issues enables us to develop thoughtful insight to strengthen CBs, LNGs, COIs, and AADE national.
• Voting is not a requirement, but it is a right and responsibility. It's an obligation that’s part of a bigger picture. Voting in an election is not just about supporting the candidates or issues in that specific race, it’s about supporting the idea as a whole. It’s about believing that the will of the people is a driving and essential factor in the success of the organization.
