The Arizona Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists is looking for passionate volunteers to join our committees for the upcoming year. These roles are a great way to get involved, build leadership skills, and help strengthen diabetes care across the state.
All positions are volunteer based, require ADCES membership, and involve a 1–2 year commitment with monthly meetings. Read more about these opportunities below and apply if interested. Membership Committee
Help grow and engage our statewide member community. Responsibilities include recruiting new members, supporting retention efforts, onboarding new members, maintaining membership records, and collecting feedback to improve the member experience.
Technology Committee
Support our online presence by maintaining the Arizona ADCES Connect page, posting calendar items, managing group announcements, and assisting local networking groups with their online sections. Great for those who enjoy tech, communication, or organization.
Events Committee
Assist with planning, coordinating, and promoting statewide events. Duties include brainstorming event ideas, managing logistics and registration, developing marketing strategies, recruiting volunteers, and gathering feedback after events.
Nominating Committee
Identify and recommend qualified candidates for leadership positions, review nominations, prepare a balanced and diverse slate, and help facilitate the election process. Ideal for those interested in leadership development and organizational growth.
