The elect position serves as a supporting leadership role within the organization and prepares to transition into a coordinating body leadership position in the following term. This role provides continuity in leadership, supports current initiatives, and gains experience to ensure a smooth and effective succession.
The elect position assumes the responsibilities of the coordinating body leader when they are unavailable and takes on additional duties as outlined in the organization’s bylaws or as assigned. The elect role automatically transitions into the coordinating body leader position at the beginning of the next calendar year.
This position is a one-year term, beginning on the first day of the calendar year following election.
