House Bill 1175 Diabetes Reporting passed out of the House Public Health Committee on 1/11/18. The bill author is Repres entative Vanessa Summers and Representative Cindy Kirchhofer is the co-author . This bill will now move on to the full House for a vote within the next week then move over to the Senate for consideration on or after January 31 st . If this bill is passed, it would require the state departm ent of health to collaborate with the office of the secretary of family and social services and develop a strategic pl an along with workgroups to identify and reduce the prevalence of diabetes and prediabetes in Indiana and submit the ...
