The Local Networking Group (LNG) Leader coordinates activities within one of the six regions making up our Michigan Coordinating Body. Some activities LNGs have had in the past include: arranging for local meet-and-greets, having a medical vendor host an informational dinner meeting, or gathering a group to watch a free ADCES webinar.
We currently need group leaders for the following regions:
Southwestern Capital Area LNG Leader
(counties: Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Clinton, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Lenawee, St. Joseph, Van Buren)
Thumb & East Central LNG Leader
(counties: Arenac, Bay, Clare, Genessee, Gladwin, Gratiot, Huron, Iosco, Isabella, Lapeer, Midland, Ogemaw, Roscommon, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Tuscola)
Tip of the Mitt LNG Leader
(counties: Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Wexford)
Upper Peninsula LNG Leader
(counties: Alger, Baraga, Chippewa, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw, Luce, Mackinac, Marquette, Menominee, Ontonagon, Schoolcraft)
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Participate in monthly Leadership Team meetings
- Organize meeting(s) for members of the LNG
- Reach out to new members of your LNG to make them feel welcome
- Estimated time commitment is an average of about 1-2 hours per month
