The Regional Diabetes Planning Group, chaired by the St. Louis County Health Dept met April 24, 2018 to discuss the 2-1-1 Resource available in St. Louis (and in Kansas City and nationwide with varying access identifiers) The 2-1-1 Resource guide is at present a resource for health care providers, clinicians, social workers to access resources related to health, food, transportation, education, financial assistance resources for all. The Regional Diabetes Planning Group is considering joining the 2-1-1 network to provide access to diabetes information of all kinds with a taxonomy of terms so all can access what is needed for clients and patients with diabetes.
