Congratulations and a Fond Farewell!

Have you seen the new My AADE Network Community Web Badge on the state of Missouri home page? The state Badge award is presented to up to five Coordinating Bodies (CB’s) that have successfully completed ten performance requirements in a given quarter; ours was awarded for the 2nd quarter of 2012.  The awardees are then placed into a raffle drawing for an additional prize—the MO CB will receive a free AADE recorded webinar as the additional prize winner---stay tuned for future details regarding distribution of CE program. Congratulations to the entire Missouri CB Volunteer Team Leaders, especially Nancy Trebilcock, Interim CB Chair and Chuck Termini, Web Admin/Technology Leader, for their diligence in meeting the performance goals set by AADE. Don’t forget to check the calendar site & Latest News sections of the Missouri state page of the My AADE Network on a regular basis—many new events recently posted.

A very fond farewell and sincere note of appreciation to CB Volunteer Team Leaders: Mary Beth Gilbert, OT, (Lexena, Kansas), and Deb McConville AP, RN, BC,CDE, APRN (Kansas City, MO). They are active members and volunteer Leaders of the Kansas City (MO) LNG, KCRADE. They are part of the original, “founding” CB Board and are resigning their CB posts at July’s end. Their support, enthusiasm, dedication, talents, and donation of their most valuable asset---their time—has helped establish a good foundation for our CB. Most remarkably, MaryBeth is not even a Missouri resident!

Please note that a “head” can only be as strong as the “neck” that supports it; and right now your CB Team is feeling like a baseball player bobble-head doll!! At the end of December, 2012, three CB members will be leaving their posts. So, please consider helping  your Organization by joining the CB volunteer Leaders Team or being part of future special projects---contact me at nancytcde@hotmail.com, subject line: CB interest, for list of available positions/additional information. Thank you very much!

Nancy Trebilcock, BSN, RN, CDE; CB Interim Chair
