Recently I have had inquiries or comments from Members who are seeking "Recognition" Certification status for their diabetes Education Programs or working on renewal of their Recognition Certification. To seek assistance with your questions, you can contact the AADE/DEAP Program link from the www.diabeteseducator.org website or the ADA/healthcare Professionals link from the www.diabetes.org website. Reimbursement queries can be directed to the "Ask the Reimbursement Expert" from the home page of AADE or use medicare.gov. For those of you who prefer to contact someone directly, in your general geographical area, I have generated Lists of Recognized Education Programs, from various states, for your reference. They are posted in the "Download Resources" tab (right side in grey colored box) from the Missouri home page.
