Interested in volunteering for the MO CB? We are seeking the following positions in our annual elections to be held this December:
Missouri Coordinating Body (CB) 2020 Elections Available Position Descriptions
Finance Leader: 1 year term*
- Prepare, in conjunction with the Coordinating Body and input from LNGs, overall program annual budget to assure resources are allocated appropriately; should be prepared by June 1
- Review monthly financial statements
- Prepare and submit as needed project requests for state-wide events
- Review and handle project requests made by LNGs
- Be the point person with national for getting financial reports, handling money requests, deposits, vendor payments, etc. within the state
Education Leader: 1 year term*
- Focus on building educational opportunities throughout the state largely by facilitating the activities of the LNG
- Reach out to LNGs to gather ideas and identify places to collaborate on events, replicate events across the state
- Encourage LNGs to have events
- Plan and execute (with team) state-wide events
- Be resource for LNGs
Regional Representatives (3 positions): 1 year term*
[Northeast, Central, Southeast areas of the state]
- Communicate with MO AADE Members/Contacts in their region regarding upcoming state and national AADE initiatives and encourage active participation
- Actively assist the Membership Chair with regional recruitment, retention and more active participation of MO CB members, including encouraging and assisting with formation of new LNGs and maintaining current LNGs
- Assist CB with planning and implementation of state events and initiatives
- Assist in recruitment of members to the MO CB State Advocacy Team
- Serve as a conduit between regional membership and all MO CB through active communication, including utilization of the AADE website
*May choose to complete 2 consecutive terms if desired
Overall Responsibilities of the Team Leaders
- Work with Chair to orchestrate programs and needs within the state
- Together select the CB Chair
- Individual team members may assume oversight for specific areas such as Education, Advocacy, Membership; two roles, Technology and Finance, are critical and must be covered
- Individual coordinators are strongly encouraged to tap members at large for open volunteer positions and to form task forces to handle key programs such as a state-wide educational event or legislative initiative
- Work with LNGs and members to coordinate service delivery
