I would like to recognized those that have volunteered for the Missouri AADE in recent years. First, we owe a large debt of gratitude to Nancy Trebilcock and Mary Lawrence. These dedicated professionals built the Missouri AADE from it's beginnings, and still assist the current Missouri CB. They both possess a great deal of diabetes and AADE knowledge. It's so helpful to have them to turn to when we need assistance. Nancy recently attended the Resource Fair sponsored by Making the Diabetes-Heart Connection Program at the State Capitol. Mary provided information to help start planning of our next Diabetes Care 'Show-Me' Summit.
Other board members who have spent several hours on CB board and State meeting phone calls, doing work for the CB between phone calls, attending leadership and public policy forums, making sure Missouri is represented at the National AADE meeting, etc. are: Leisa Blanchard, Joan McGinnis, Candace Williams, Amanda Stahnke, and Susan Felten.
I'm also very grateful for those who are helping us plan the Diabetes Care meeting who are not on the CB: Gloris Xynos, Laurie Klipfel, Mary Jacobs, Jennifer Anderson, and Becky Sidberry. Thanks to Becky Sidberry for joining the CB at our legislative day at the State Capitol and for volunteering to lead the St. Louis LNG.
