Also posted: "Primary Care Strategies for Kidney Disease Renal Symposium", hosted by the National Kidney foundation, is set for Friday, September 18, 2015 at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO. This primary care educational symposium will update the busy health care practitioner on methods of identification and intervention to delay the progression of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Speakers include our own Missouri/AADE Member, Andrew Bzowyckyj, PharmD, BCPS, CDE/University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Pharmacy; his topic: "Acute Kidney Injury – When Good Medications Go Bad".
AADE also posted emails featuring 2 CE live webinars in September that are FREE to AADE Members; the free fee is available limited to the first 1,000 registrants. .... a value provided by your Membership dues! The live webinars are: "Focus on Sweeteners: Low-calorie sugars"; September 9, 2015; 12noon CST (rescheduled from July 22). And "Medication Effectiveness: How do type 2 meds compare? "; September 24, 2015; 12:00noon CST.
