Why You Should Attend the Montana Diabetes Educators State Meeting on October 5th

By Deb Bjorsness posted 08-22-2017 13:39

Have you ever had patients tell you that they don’t need diabetes education because they have had diabetes for many years and already know about diabetes? I have been told that and part of my response in our discussion is . . . “I learn something new in the diabetes field every year”.

I think it is important to stay current and up to date in order to provide our patients and clients with the best service. For that reason, I really look forward to our annual meeting which will be held in Bozeman on Thursday, October 5th this year.

This year we have a great agenda. Did you know there are 11 defects in Type 2 diabetes? Do you want to sharpen your knowledge about the newest medications that are available to your patients?  How about learning to help your patients optimize their glycemic patterns?  Learn about the popular weight loss diets that our patients ask us about? Learn ways we can improve our diabetes education and prevention program utilization by networking with colleagues?  If these topics sound valuable, don’t miss the early bird registration which ends: September 7th

Register online by clicking on the link: www.myaadenetwork.org/montana

Look for additional registration information from Kris Kilen. We would like to move towards electronic access to presentation handouts; watch for a link when you register.

Register online before September 7th for the best rate.

See you in Bozeman soon.
