Each fall, Montana holds two great diabetes conferences. The Diabetes Education conference on Thursday, October 25th and the Diabetes Professional conference beginning on Thursday evening and continuing all day on Friday, October 26th. Remember that you need to register for each meeting separately. The two back-to-back meetings are a great way to get continuing education credits. If you have not registered, there is still time . . .
We have some great topics at both meetings. The Diabetes Education agenda includes: medication updates, continuous glucose monitoring, eating disorders and diabetes, and learning about creating behavior change. The Diabetes Professional agenda includes: how our words can either help or harm our patients, decreasing stroke risk, diabetes medications, quality data initiatives, and native diabetes health and culture of care. Have I convinced you to attend yet?
You will also have the opportunity to visit with vendors and learn about new products, devices, and medications available to your patients.
Of course, the meetings will provide a great opportunity to network with others in our profession. And . . . if you allow time, and are interested, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort offer a chance to relax and soak in the hot spring pools.
See you at Fairmont Hot Springs . . . .
