As I was struggling to decide what to write about I went to several websites looking for inspiration and the websites themselves became the inspiration. I think sometimes we forget how many wonderful resources there are available to us. I'm just going to recap a few here. The first is a reminder about all of the wonderful things that can be found right here at on our AADE network. This is our place to find articles, access tips sheets for us and our patients, reach out to others for help and learn about continuing education opportunities. Also don't forget www.danatech.org. As a member of AADE it's free and you have access to the app review, product info guides, CE, polls, etc. During my search I also visited www.nhlbi.nih.gov and there are so many fabulous resources, not just for diabetes but other health problems as well. I even came across a cookbook I helped create back in the early 1990's that was part of an NIH grant to increase fruit and vegetable intake. I, of course, have a copy, but it was fun to see it there. Some of the other places I visited were www.diabetes.org, www.jdrf.org and www. heart.org. All are wonderful resources to find information, recipes, and help for you and your patients. Take some time to revisit some of these sites and see what you may have been missing out on.
