Have you ever had a patient/client come in ask you what you thought about a certain app they are using to help manage a health condition? I have and very often I have no idea because I haven't personally used that app.  AADE has created the Diabetes Advanced Network Access (DANA), an exclusive resource for members.  You can get an overview of it  here dana app review.  Once you've checked out the overview, head on over to app review by clicking on the link from the AADE educator tools page or going to www.danaapps.org.  You will have to create a log in and then you'll have access to tons of apps that have been reviewed by the committee. It will give you information about the app including whether or not the information patients would receive from the app is science based or not. The app review is the first look at DANA with the full launch coming later this year which will include the latest CGM guidance and training, tech courses, research and more. I have found the app review to be extremely helpful in helping patients determine if a particular app might be helpful for them or not.  I definitely recommend that you try it out and I'm excited for all the benefits from the full launch.
