As the Diabetes Educator of the Year (DEOY) for 2010, it has been an honor for me to represent all of you fabulous diabetes educators. As I have traveled across the USA, I have been impressed by your dedication and advocacy for the person living with diabetes. I shall always cherish this year as the DEOY. So that I can always remember my DEOY travels, I created a DEOY charm bracelet that depicts all the states that I have visited. So after traveling 32, 829 miles and visiting 13 states, I would like to share my DEOY experience with you through the following pictures. Can you locate my DEOY mascot?
