The Oklahoma Health Care Authority has completed its report on diabetes self-management training, as directed by Senate Bill 972. A digital copy is available on OHCA's website.
"This report provides an overview of diabetes in Oklahoma and among SoonerCare members. Diabetes self-management training could lower medical costs and improve quality of life for SoonerCare members by reducing the long-term impact of uncontrolled disease. We hope the recommendations detailed in this report will not only benefit SoonerCare members, but also positively impact the state's health outcomes.
