I wanted to introduce myself, I am the AADE Board Liaison for Oregon
this year. I am serving my third and final year on the board and have
really enjoyed the opportunity and learning experience.
I am a full time PhD student in Nursing Science and Healthcare Leadership at UC
Davis, CA and also work for Sutter Health as a diabetes program
coordinator for a group of 7 of our AADE/ADA accredited DSMT programs in
Northern CA. I also work as a clinical nurse specialist involved in program evaluation and research.
I am in the process of planning my dissertation research in the area of diabetes and telehealth, specifically remote monitoring and care coordination.
I live outside of Sacramento, but have in-laws that live in Grants Pass, a niece at Oregon State and the dean of my nursing school, Heather Young is from Oregon, so I do have some connections!
