In a recent Huddle podcast, there continues to be a clear need for CDCES research and implementation science. Putting evidence into practice is core to the cross functional care of the patient living with diabetes and essential for positive patient outcomes. CDCES can lead clinical practice by engaging stakeholders and developing champions for this important work. Understanding the community and developing advocates for implementation science is core to successful execution in this research. Moreover, this continues to bolster the value of the CDCES role in research and impact to patient care.
