Navigating the AADE Website

I always enjoyed going to the library and wandering through the stacks and coming across a new treasure.  When I visit the AADE website I find the same type of experience.  Today, I wandered down the Patient Resource aisle and found the Healthy Eating Resources.   I’m bringing this to my next class. Other areas you might want to investigate are Practice where you'll find practice guidelines and position statements or News & Publications or Research.

As a member of AADE you have a number of resources, contacts and education information available at your fingertips, at any time.  So I want to encourage you to take some time and explore the AADE website.  The first place I would tell you to visit is MY AADE NETWORK , and go to my state network.  Here you’ll find a list of your state CB members, and information on state and Local Network Groups (LNG) events.  A list of current and past blogs can also be accessed on this page, and don’t forget to subscribe to your LNG or all of them.  By subscribing to your LNG you won’t any meetings or discussions that are going on locally.

On the right sidebar you’ll find News and Announcements this is sent to all PA members when a post is made, Statewide Discussions contains items posted by members, this you would need to join to receive.  Minutes from CB meeting can be found in Download Resources.  To find out about volunteer opportunities click Get Involved to find out what would be a fit for you.

Don’t forget to check out Communities of Interest,  if you’re not sure which to join check out the recent posting on the different COI’s.  Recently, one of the blogs on the Pharmacy COI was about Toujeo and it reminded me of some information I need to include in my patient education.  You can sign up for one or all or if you prefer, just check in on a COI periodically.  The choice is up to you.  To make changes  to your subscriptions go to My Options here you can decide how you want to receive you information.

Take advantage of your membership and find out what resources on the AADE website  are the best for you.  So go on and EXPLORE .
