Diabetes-team work-CE-programs, from Marilyn Clougherty:

Many hands make light(er) work. I love working together as a team! Watching others bring their best to the table and then encouraging other members to do the same is so inspiring. This year, I am privileged to be the Chair of Western Pennsylvania’s Local Networking Group.  In December last year, we reviewed previous program evaluations, asked for volunteers for; programing, industry support, secretary and so on. Quickly the positions were filled and we were coming along, By January and consensus, we had a date, venue and theme that is both timely and creative. Ideas for speaker were collected and by February we had 4 speakers confirmed then by March all speakers were confirmed and we submitted to the PACB for approval. AADE streamlined the forms which helped to keep the process moving. May starts with Save-the-date marketing. September registration opened and more marketing. When you think of how many folks out there have diabetes of all ages and how much has changed in diabetes this day will allows us to relax plus learn from practicing experts in their fields. Kudos to WPLNG for banding together to make this happen for our region. Anyone have any similar experiencing working with the best crew and feeling great about what you were able to accomplish? Anyone have experience of accomplishing much more that you thought possible when working with others?  I would like to know your experiences.
