Position Title: LNG ( Local Networking Group) Lead
Number of Positions: Two per LNG
Elected or Appointed: Appointed
Position Duration: 2-year term, with possibility of reappointment
for an additional term
Effective Date: Fiscal term each year- start January - December
Voting/Nonvoting: Voting
Committee Liaisons: State CB & state CB committee opportunities
Position Purpose: Serve as main contact for local networking group.
Position Description: Facilitate local meetings quarterly, either virtually or in person.
Represent local networking group on state CB

Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Attend at least 75% of state CB meetings & calls.
(attend at least 1 in-person meeting & 6 evening calls/year)
State CB holds at least 8 evening calls per year; 2 in-person meetings.
General Routine Activities:
· Welcoming new members
· Planning, organizing, and executing quarterly member meetings.
· Facilitating new membership for LNG
Reports/Deadlines: Provide update to CB on local networking group meetings and activities.
Time Spent in Activities: 2-3 hours per month
Materials to Be Passed to Successor: Local networking group contacts; suggestions for local leaders & speakers for events.
