The Upper Piedmont Association of Diabetes Educators (UPADE) recently presented a check for $1000 to the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation. The donation will be used to sponsor children attending "Camp Porcupine", Self Regional Healthcare's camp for children with diabetes.
Established 17 years ago, the camp helps youngsters learn to manage the disease while enjoying a fun time.
