This video which depicts the realities of life with type 1 diabetes from the perspective of a 10 year old was created by Ellie Bissell with some production assistance from her parents Lisa Bolduc-Bissell and Mark Bissell. Ellie is an adorable and very well adjusted young lady who does not let type 1 diabetes limit her current activities or goals for her future. With the JDRF Walk scheduled in Chittenden County on Sunday May 20th, this video is a bittersweet reminder of impact of diabetes on the life of a child and the need for diabetes research. Ellie has given me permission to distribute her You-Tube video to the VtADE membership and to post the link on our Vermont page.
