We are in the process of metamorphosis that can be compared to a developing butterfly. With the launching of My AADE.net we are gaining wings for rapid communication and transfer of ideas between our members. In the next days and weeks our membership will be learning to use the new tools that AADE has developed for us. Thank you AADE leadership for the many hours of work that has gone into this new tool.
For all of us as we seek new growth, it is necessary to retain the good, let go of the ineffective and embrace what is new and good. We have many creative and talented members who can add much to My AADE.net. We collectively "make" The American Association of Diabetes Educators. Online functions have the capacity for use when it is convenient for us...at home, at work, or when away. I hope that we will all be able to work well in our new online space.
