As we have begun 2020, I am reflecting on what 2020 is slated to bring. Firstly, we have a new title and a transition into a new era as Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. What an amazing start to the year. We are not just about diabetes education. We are about the patient care experience and how to be as patient focused to optimize their quality of life. As a CDCES we ARE the expert and we ARE the future and we ARE the best person to help our communities.
As Chair for the Wyoming Coordinating Body (CB) I am committed to helping you as members and potential members and patient advocates journey on in this new year. National AADE will be rebranding and will have some amazing updates for us as the professionals. I look forward to helping guide you through this transition and welcome all the questions and comments that you have regarding this transition.
