I am a master’s-prepared Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with over 40 years of experience spanning clinical, community, and business settings. My career began in India, where I built a strong foundation in science with a degree in Chemistry and Microbiology, followed by a master’s in Applied Nutrition from Rutgers University.
I have extensive experience in hospital-based clinical nutrition, including oncology care, nutrition support coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration. I later led SNAP-Ed initiatives across multiple New Jersey counties, advancing public health nutrition through evidence-based education and community engagement.
Over the past decade, my focus has been on endocrinology and diabetes management, where I have helped patients achieve improved clinical outcomes through individualized nutrition strategies. In 2025, I established my own private practice through the Fay Nutrition Platform, offering virtual counseling services covered by major insurance plans.
