Robin Edelman is a registered dietitian nutritionist and a certified diabetes care and education specialist who blogs about topics related to public health and diabetes for the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists in Chicago.

Robin serves as a volunteer clinical instructor for the University of Vermont's College of Medicine and consults with the UVM Health Network where she serves as a trainer of leaders and a leader herself for the Healthier Living Workshop for Diabetes used nationwide and in many other countries. This program originated at Stanford University.

She recently collaborated with the program founders to co-author/edit chapters on Healthy Eating and Diabetes for the book published in the US and Canada that is distributed to all participants in the self-management programs conducted in both countries. (This 2020 paperback by Bull Publishing, is called Living a  Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions).

Before retiring from the Vermont Department of Health where, for 14 years, Robin managed CDC grants for diabetes and heart disease, she was the clinical nutrition manager at the UVM Med Center for 17 years and the Nutrition Editor at EatingWell Magazine for 3 years.
