Title:  Understanding Diabetes and Women’s Health

 

Summary:  Diabetes impact women's health differently and may lead to a higher risk of certain complications. A management and prevention. The intended outcome of this program is that attendees will gain a better understanding of the  biopsychosocial impact of diabetes on women’s health across the adult lifespan with a particular focus on the childbearing years and how healthcare professionals can effectively care for and manage this population to improve health outcomes.
