I have been a nurse since 2002, dabbling in many areas including Oncology and Forensics, until I found my true calling in the world of diabetes care in 2007. I have worked only in an inpatient setting, but work to keep up-to-date on all areas of diabetes care. I love learning and discussing the use of technology in health care. I also am passionate about research that helps to advance the unique practice of the diabetes care and education specialist. This includes population health, peer support, technology, and integrated care.
