ADCES Advocacy Spotlight:Â Â
From ADCES
With the signing of the FY25 continuing resolution to fund the government over the weekend, Medicare's telehealth flexibilities have once again been extended--this time through September 30, 2025. This means there is no expiration on March 31 anymore.
The Action Alert for this issue has been updated to reflect our new request to make these flexibilities permanent instead of passing 3 short-term extensions in 10 months.
We anticipate that legislation to accomplish this will be reintroduced very soon and we'll post on the Advocacy Forum when that happens.

Take Action Now to Support an Increase to Medicare Payment Rates
Â
A large, bipartisan group of U.S. Representatives have introduced a bill to significantly increase Medicare Part B payment rates. A 2.8% payment cut went into effect at the start of this year due to lack of action from Congress, but the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act has now been introduced to increase Medicare Part B payment rates by 6.62% for all services rendered from April through December of this year. This would impact payments for diabetes self-management training, medical nutrition therapy, and other Part B services.
Take action now to urge your Representative to cosponsor this legislation and support its inclusion in a March healthcare package that is being negotiated!
We also have an open alert on extending telehealth in Medicare, which is set to expire on March 31 if Congress does not act.
