Patricia Talio is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with over 30 years of clinical experience. She earned her degrees from the University of Rhode Island and the New York Medical College and completed her dietetic internship at The New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center.
Her career has been multifaceted due to an unwavering thirst for nutrition information and passion to be patient - centered. Patricia has worked along and collaborated with professionals in cancer care, in the treatment of disordered eating, weight loss surgery and education, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and diabetes care and education. Patricia helped develop a Teaching Kitchen curriculum along with CIA trained executive chef.
Patricia is proud of the patient centered care she provides care as a RD and CDCES at Northwell Health Physician Partners.
Outside of work, Patricia enjoys cooking and baking for her family and friends. Outside of the kitchen she enjoys the beautiful Northeast taking long walks with her Havanese dog Leo.
