Dr. Grossman is a Clinical Pharmacy Practitioner and Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at the Department of Veterans Affairs - New York Harbor Healthcare System and Adjunct faculty at Hunter College part of the City University of New York. Sam Grossman is also the Chair of the NJ association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, a Director on Diabetes Care and Education Specialists national Board of Directors, and a member of the Advisory Board for the Diabetes Foundation.
Dr. Grossman coordinated many education programs in the community and is involved with the expansion of the role of the diabetes care and education specialist in healthcare and promotion of diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular education in the community. He presented numerous presentations about diabetes care to healthcare professionals and individuals with diabetes nationwide.
