Last month, Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) sent a bi-partisan letter to CMS Administrator Seema Verma regarding Medicare coverage of continuous blood glucose monitors (CGMs), tubeless insulin delivery systems (OmniPod) and other technological advances which help people with diabetes manage their health. This letter emphasizes the importance of CMS keeping up with technological advancements which simplify diabetes self-management for Medicare beneficiaries.
